Red Rocks National Conservation Area

Red Rocks is an oasis in a city of lights. Whether you intend to do some serious climbing or just plan on hiking, the short drive from Las Vegas is well worth the trouble. We squeezed our way through the Black Corridor to the Hunter S. Thompson Dome, finding the bulk of the trash at the trailhead.
